University of Minnesota-Twin Cities: There are many educational institutions in Minnesota but out of all the choices there is, the University of Minnesota-Twin Cities remain to be the top choice for most students and their families.

The University of Minnesota-Twin Cities, founded back in 1851, is a public institution with a total enrollment of undergraduate of 34,351. It has an urban setting and the size of its campus spans for about 1,204 acres. The university makes use of a semester-based academic calendar.

The school’s Minnesota Golden Gophers compete in NCAA Division I Big Ten Conference as well as all of the athletic events that are being held in the Stadium Village neighborhood located on the Minneapolis campus. The official mascot of the school, Goldy Gopher, acts as the energizer of thousands of students while they are chanting “Ski-U-Mah,” which is a rallying cry meaning “Victory UM.”

Under the university’s Four-Year Graduation Plan, University of Minnesota Twin Cities makes sure that all of the necessary classes are going to be made available for their students to be able to complete their chosen degrees right on time. If the courses are not available in the four years of schooling of an undergraduate, the university is the one that will pay for the additional credits.

The Law School, College of Education and Human Development and the Carlson School of Management are all ranked highly. This public research university starts engaging their students at the undergraduate level.
